First Steps

It was April 20th, 2011. Dustin was just over 9 months old.  Grandpa Goetsch was in town visiting for the week, so Jeff and I took advantage of the opportunity to leave Dustin at home with Grandpa and his friend, and go on a date.  Grandpa Goetsch called us at the restaurant because he was so excited: Dustin took his first steps!  Dustin had been taking a step here or there for a while, but this was his first time traversing the kitchen floor.

I've been wanting to get this video up on the blog since it happened ... 5 months now!  He has been trying to catch that camera ever since. (see video below)
